I have a very specific idea of the music I want at my event. Can you play whatever I want?
My main goal is to make your vision for your special occasion come true, so I work directly with my clients to create their Ultimate Wedding Playlist or the perfect event song list. Your personalised playlist can be composed of songs from my extensive library of songs and I can also take up to two special requests included in the price! Any additional special request will generate a $25 Special Request Fee ($25 for each additional special song for solo piano, $50 for each additional song to be arranged/scored for string trio) This fee applies to modern music not available in my existing repertoire, new releases, specific arrangements for which the scores need to be purchased or if the music is extremely difficult.
Can you perform our special song?
Absolutely. Gillian is always happy to learn and perform meaningful songs for ceremonies and events. If a piece is not already in her repertoire, she can often create a custom arrangement to make the moment feel personal and unique.
We’re not sure what songs to choose. Do you help with music selection?
Of course! I work closely with couples and clients to curate music that feels personal, meaningful, and aligned with the atmosphere you want to create. Whether you have a very specific vision or no idea where to begin, I guide the process thoughtfully to help create a soundtrack that feels natural, memorable, and reflective of the event.
What is your musical style?
My style is elegant, warm, and versatile. I blend classical, jazz, Broadway, and contemporary music to create an atmosphere that feels refined, inviting, and thoughtfully tailored to each celebration.
Can guests request songs during the event?
Depending on the style and flow of the event, guest requests may be accommodated when appropriate. I always prioritize maintaining the overall atmosphere and musical direction curated for the celebration.
Can you perform with additional musicians or vocalists?
Yes. In addition to solo performances, I offer curated ensembles featuring trusted professional musicians and vocalists, including strings, guitar, bass, percussion, and featured singers when desired.
Do you coordinate with planners and venues?
Yes. I work closely with planners, coordinators, and venues to ensure timing, cues, and transitions flow seamlessly so clients can feel relaxed and fully present throughout the event.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) can be provided if required by the venue.
Can you provide music for both the ceremony and reception?
Yes. Packages can include multiple portions of the event, including ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and other special moments throughout the celebration.
Can you dress to match the theme or formality of the event?
Yes. I always dress professionally and appropriately for the setting and I'm happy to coordinate attire based on the tone, dress code, or aesthetic of the event whenever possible.
